Rug Punch/Hooking Pattern

My first Rug Pattern, I will be selling these hand drawn on fabric. It is listed in my Etsy store under Rug Patterns. And is available with two options:

Hand drawn on Primitive Linen for you Hookers out there!

or

On Monks cloth for the Rug Punchers using Yarn and the Oxford Needle.

I'm hoping everyone is safe and sound after the storm. It is beautiful seeing all the white, and the full moon has made it even more spectacular. Be careful digging out!

Anyone that knows me knows I love Bunnies...it seems like I'm not alone!

Honey Bunn, my newest design, is a bit Prim, a bit whimsical, and definitely a chubby fellow.

He is s 3 strand punch, (Mixer)

 MIXER-------Using two different colors threaded together to created a tone value ..example: one strand of red and one strand of brown threaded together to create a darker tone value. instruction for colors and thread count included. 

Color coded: using DMC for detail and Valdani Perle cotton for the background.

Staying warm?

It's been great weather for Punching, Hooking, and Needlework.

I decided this week to introduce something not winter, spring, summer or fall, but a bit of everything.. An all season Pattern Featuring Mushrooms!

It is a Three strand Punch, using DMC for the details and Valdani for the background.

It measures: 8" high by 5 1/2 inches wide.

Two Turtle Doves

"Two Turtle Doves"

As promised the second addition to the 12 days of Christmas.

Keeping to the Folk Feel and the earthy tones.

Smaller and slighter in build than many other doves, 

 the European turtle dove may be recognised by its browner colour, and the black-and-white-striped patch on the side of its neck. The tail is notable as the bird flies from the observer; it is wedge shaped, with a dark centre and white borders and tips. When viewed from below, this pattern, owing to the white under-tail coverts obscuring the dark bases, is a blackish chevron on a white ground. This can be seen when the bird stoops to drink and raises its spread tail.

Keep in mind if you like the Doves and do not wish to add the number it can always be omitted by adding the background color instead.

This is the same size as the Partridge in a Pear Tree:

Here we are in 2016, WOW! 

Please let me start the new year by thanking with all my heart everyone who supported me last year, for without you I could not do what I love.

I am looking forward to designing more punch needle patterns this year and hopefully increasing it to a line of rug punching and rug hooking patterns. I'm so excited and I hope you are too!
