This is a companion piece there will a be a "Brings May Flowers". Coming at the beginning of next week. They will compliment each other for a duel framed piece.  I think they will be nice as two separate pillows, which is what I will do...I think? 

April Showers measures 6 1/2" high by 5 1/2" wide.

It is a 2 & 3 strand punch.

It's a beautiful day in Pittsburgh, actually it has been for I think, 4 in a row. Which is not the norm....but I'll take it.

This was a request from a FB friend!

I hope i'm not becoming known as the bird lady, I do love them, It's fun doing many different patterns from Prim to Modern.

It measures 5" by 6 1/2", 

It is color coded using Valdani and DMC threads, for convenience.

Good Morning everyone... I've had so many requests for Ornaments, Thank you!

I have grouped them in twos so the Etsy download can handle them. They are revised from the mats so they match. Look closely and you will see a ring at the top and a small ring at the bottom...This summer I will be looking for Antique Finds to hang at the bottom, Keys, Jewelry etc. Can't wait to see the Christmas tree this year.

Each measures 4 inches high by 3 1/2 inches wide.

They are 2 & 3 strand punches, which can be done using the three strand CTR needle.

I will be adding directions for assembly on the tips and tricks page. ASAP!

I was in need of something Bright and Cheery! This did the trick!

This is a six strand punch. I have to say, I found it very hard on my wrist. The tension punching the needle through the fabric was very resistant. Three strand goes through the fabric like butter, with no pressure on the wrist. So three strand, for me is the way to go, and once you get used to separating the threads it's a breeze.

Friends measures 6" by 9", Punch needle pattern, 6 strand punch. Color coded using only DMC Floss. It can also be enlarged for rug punch or rug hooking, message or email me if you're interested.

12 days of Christmas Duo

Two Pattern Offering

"Five Golden Rings"

"Six Geese A Laying"

This month I am offering Two of the Twelve days of Christmas Patterns. My thinking is that it will pull us ahead, so we won't be rushed in the Holiday Season. 

They are both 3 strand punches 

using DMC for details and Valdani 100% Colorfast, Hand dyed Perle Cotton for background.

All the Patterns are the same size for finishing purposes (7 1/4" wide  x 5 1/2" High). 

If I could, I have been asked if I could revise the patterns into ornaments, What a wonderful idea! Thank you for mentioning it! Is there an interest in having ornaments on the Twelve Days of Christmas? Please let me know in the comments. 

We woke to a dusting of snow this morning, Yuk! I'm off to Punch a very colorful spring pattern this morning in hopes that it will arrive here very soon.  The white stuff is beautiful, but I'm ready for the Garden and the smell of warm earth.

April is here...Yea! 

 I love Spring!

 We can now putter in the yard. Clean the beds, and smell the earth with every Spring rain. 

The daffodils are in full bloom, and the Tulips are not far behind. Looking forward to punching in the garden in the open air,  Whoopeeee!

This week's pattern is a Spring mix of Tulips Geraniums, Ivy and Hosta!

A 3 strand Punch, using DMC for detail and Valdani #12 Perle Cotton for the background.

It Measures 8 inches high by 6 1/2 inch wide.

I believe I will tea stain the edges and add a wool border for the finish.

Look for the pattern in my Etsy shop as a jpg download, Printed by snail mail or ready to go on weavers cloth!
