Fairy House Bed

The Fairy Bed

I am starting to see signs of life at the fairy house, now that there is a warm cozy bed.

The bed is made from twigs Flower buds, tiny acorns and three candles for reading.
The bedspread is nuno felted, from wool and silk chiffon, hand dyed in my favorite verdi and gray.

I have many items to finish up today for the new month. So I'd better get going. Busy, busy, busy.

I also wanted to remind you. This weekend the Fairy house will return to Kensington Court 3464 Babcock Blvd. Pittsburgh, PA 15237, for all to see. Thursday March 5th, thru Sunday March 8th. Hours: 10 to 5.
Have a wonderful Day, stay warm! Springs on the way!

Winkle Fairy Furniture

Miniature Bookcase, made with paper clay

A Fairy house is not complete without the addition of a bookcase. I am not a big reader myself, I never seem to find the time. Before bed would be nice, but I fall asleep and don't comprehend a thing. I guess, I was born to work with my hands. But I do love Books!

Miniature Apple barrel
Made with wooden beads, the barrel I have had for many years. I thought it would be nice to incorporate it.

Good morning everyone! Busy day for me today. Many WIP (works in progress) that need finished on the table. A couple more bunnies, A new punch needle pattern, and finishing up a rug hooking I started before Christmas. Stop back if you can, to see the finished work or friend me on Facebook at:

Wishing everyone a wonderful day, Stay warm.    Kate
