measures 6 1/2" W by 9 1/2" H, 3 strand punch
color coded using Valdani Perle cotton for the background and DMC for the detail work.

Morning Glory

Morning glory

Punch needle. designed and created using 3 strand DMC floss, using a CTR (Red) 3 strand needle.

If you have never used one of my patterns. they come with a Black and white, pencil line sketch. One BW forward image for transferring with a light box.  One reversed for transferring using a transfer pencil. a color code with the placement. (Easy to follow). It's like paint by number using a punch needle.

This morning I woke and thought to myself what a beautiful day. ..sun was shining, beautiful cast shadows. Then 15 minutes later it started spewing hail, so much for the beautiful day. So I'm off to back all the finished needle punches.

 Have a good day!

Four seasons Farm

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

It was a beautiful sun filled day in Pittsburgh. The crocus and snowdrops are in bloom, I believe you could sit and watch as the daffodils emerge from the ground.

I'm offering a new pattern in my etsy shop, it's a grouping of 4 patterns in one download.
For easy reference i've added the link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/briarcottage

This new pattern is called (Four Seasons Farm) group them together or switch them up seasonably!
The sheep is Spring, the pig is winter, the cow fall, and the goat summer.
The suggested measurement is 10 1/2" x 3" for each , a color code for DMC for detail, and Valdani for the background, all four seasons use the same valdani color.

Wishing you a wonderful day!
Don't forget to take a break from your punching to enjoy the fresh spring air!

Looking Forward to Spring

We did get the snow....and the ice

I was able to clear a little snow yesterday, and the sun is shining which is unusual in Pittsburgh.

My car doors are iced shut.... and my poor car, needs dug out. The temperature is not suppose to get warmer, so it looks like I'll be staying home for awhile. What a shame, another day Needle Punching. Ohhhhhh.... my!  I think I will work on Home sweet Home pattern.

Yesterday I was able to finish a punch needle, Jacobean Floral I will post it soon. I heard from a good friend of mine called yesterday, she would like another large Spindle person, she had purchased one in the past and would like a pair. So I will prime the spindle this morning and let it settle for painting, keep you posted!

Stay warm,
Kate
